Precautions for Use of Ball Screws

Ball screws are key precision mechanical parts used in automation equipment.Proper use is crucial to ensure the equipment's high accuracy and long lifespan.

Here are precautions for using ball screws:

(1)Clean the dust and debris on the ball screw regularly.Dust and debris intrusion can cause performance degradation or even damage to the ball recirculation components.

(2)Do not let a ball screw nut overrun.If the ballnut is removed from the shaft,the balls in the ball nut will fall out and the Ball Screw will be unusable. If you need to remove the ball nut please use a special temporary shaft.

(3)Avoid external impacts on ball screws.Ball screws can be damaged by dropping or being hit by an external force,and even if the damage is not visible on the outside, it may result in a loss of functionality.

(4)Avoid using ball screws at a temperature of more than 0~80°C.It may damage recirculation parts or seal parts.

(5)Do not misalign or tilt ball screws shaft support side and a ball nut.Life hours may become extremely short due to an offset load to a ball nut.
